BOSU/Disc

image of people working out on bosu equipment.

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Highly recommended Dr. Strohm! First of all the staff there is amazing and friendly and I always feel welcome. I’ve been to many chiropractors in my life and Dr. Strohm is the best! He is highly knowledgeable, professional and caring. I’ve been seeing him for chronic headaches/migraines which have been majorly reduced since I started seeing him. What a blessing!
